Redd disclosed that he has received life-threatening messages since the video’s release. Dragon Pizza subsequently disabled comments on its latest Instagram posts and has been filtering communications.

This story has resonated with many, including Somerville City Councilor Jake Wilson, who took to Twitter to express his support for Dragon Pizza. Meanwhile, Yelp temporarily disabled reviews for Dragon Pizza due to the sudden attention.

Portnoy’s review comes just a day after Barstool Sports announced layoffs, cutting almost 25% of its workforce.
