The short version
We collect as little as we can, we do not sell anything about you, and we do not track you around the internet. The church runs on generosity, not on data.
What we collect, and why
- If you join – your email and a display name, so you can sign in and we can send you what you asked for.
- If you use a form (Slice Forward, recommend a place, start a parish, the prayer wall, the newsletter) – whatever you type into it. Contact emails on those forms are kept private and used only to follow up; they are never published. Prayers posted to the wall are public by design.
- Visits – we use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Koko Analytics) that runs on our own server, sets no cookies, and records no personal data. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Who else touches it
A short list of trusted services do specific jobs: Brevo delivers our email, Stripe handles any payment (we never see your card), and a print partner fulfils merch orders. Each sees only what it needs to do its job.
How long we keep it
The minimum. Form submissions are kept while they are useful and then deleted. Membership data lasts as long as your membership. Ask us to delete you and we will.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. Email hello@crustianity.net and a human will answer. If we ever let you down, you can complain to your national data-protection authority – but try us first; we are reasonable people who like pizza.
